The Art Club is our newest club. We aim to gather 3-4 times a year, either in a member’s home, at an exhibition, or in an auction house or gallery. Meetings will be for 2-3 hours, most likely on a weekday evening, but there may also be some early morning or daytime events.

Some of the topics and activities the Club may explore include:

· Special viewings and previews of exhibitions or auctions

· Talks by artists

· Joint events with art magazines, collectors and galleries

· Art as an investment

· Art and mental health and wellbeing

· Art and education

· Art for beginners….having a go in self-expression

· Art and philanthropy

The Club may also form a collective to sponsor artists, and benefit from commissioned work at special rates.

Previous trips include a private view of the Lucian Freud exhibition at the Royal Academy by friend and one-time fellow exhibitor of Freud. Coming up, our Art Club will be given an exclusive tour of Deutsche Bank’s iconic and extensive art collection on 9th March. We are also in the midst of planning a visit to the Henry Moore foundation this Summer.

Please contact Tanya at if you would like to join this Club, attend one of our trips and help to define the Art Club agenda.
