Credit Suisse Supertrends

Supertrends – Investing with Purpose

An Investment Club event open to all members, we are thrilled to welcome back Credit Suisse to share their perspectives on Supertrends.

The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be a great disruptor, accelerating progress in areas such as technology, but reversing hard-fought gains in others including poverty, health and equality. Governments, businesses and citizens are now looking to “build back better” in the post-COVID world. Investors play an important part by directing capital toward investment solutions that participate in this effort – in other words, by investing with purpose. In this session, we are joined by Credit Suisse to provide an insight into their long-term thematic equity investing framework, the Credit Suisse Supertrends, which covers a wide range of topics from climate change and demographics to infrastructure and technology.

Credit Suisse launched Supertrends in 2017 with the objective of identifying multi-year societal trends that could lead to fast-growing business opportunities and to enable investors to grow their capital. At the same time, Supertrends provide a sound way to make a positive societal impact through investments that put societal needs and trends at the core of their thematic approach.
